This happened to me too. I think it might be a security feature. What I did was I just turned off my EV9 completely, waited a few minutes for everything to shut down, and then restarted it. It worked normally after.
You need to update your software; the systems work smoothly if they are compatible. It has to find its perfect match all the time. Just make sure it is updated, I am quite sure it will work fine.
