Anyone else experiencing issues with the 12V battery on the EV9? I’ve only had mine a couple of weeks, and after barely 200 miles, I’ve had to jump it twice already. The main battery is well-charged (sitting around 70-80%), so it’s surprising that the 12V keeps going dead.

I don’t drive a lot, maybe 10 miles a day, and it’s been pretty cold out—around 30-50°F. Could the temperature be affecting it that much? Or is there something else I should look into? Starting to wonder if this is a common thing with EVs in colder climates.

Even when parked, most EVs use the 12V battery to power fans and pumps, and the car can download updates over the air as long as it has cell service. Do you keep your car plugged in all the time? Some people do this to keep the battery charged.

If your 12V battery is constantly dead and you're having to jump-start it all the time, it's pretty obvious - it's on its last legs and definitely needs to be replaced.
