The Kia EV9 may be coming equipped with the NACS charging tech which means no more adaptors! Anyone else hoping they follow through? It seems companies like their own charging, but this would be a game change for the Kia!

It is great news for Kia EV9 users, it makes life easier for Kia users. Buying an adapter just to charge anywhere is truly a hassle and with the NACS charging tech it helps the user save and give them more reasons to choose this car.The Kia EV9 may be coming equipped with the NACS charging tech which means no more adaptors! Anyone else hoping they follow through? It seems companies like their own charging, but this would be a game change for the Kia!
The article I read is dated October 2023. I'm not seeing anything new. But Kia's jumping on the NACS bandwagon and will start putting NACS ports on new EVs sold in NA starting in the fourth quarter of this year. I also read they have CCS-to-NACS adapters available through dealerships early next year. That's pretty cool. And the EV9 is definitely a contender in the EV market.

It would be such a relief not having to mess around with adaptors anymore. My hope is that in the future everything will be easier in the EV space and EV9 will become a more solid choice.
