Mounting HOV OK sticker on BC EV9

Hey everyone, I want to mount my BC “HOV OK” sticker on my EV9 using a plastic holder, but I am a bit concerned about those little clips behind the license plate. I know that they can get knocked inside the bumper if you don't know what you are doing.
Do I need to remove the whole license plate and frame to do this properly, or is there a trick to avoid losing those clips? Would appreciate any advice to save some time (and frustration). Thanks!

I feel you,! I had a similar issue with my Volvo, where I was worried about losing clips when mounting the plate. In the end, I found that carefully removing the plate with a plastic tool helped avoid knocking the clips inside. It’s a bit of a delicate process, but if you’re gentle and take your time, you won’t have to remove the whole frame. It may be best to remove the frame completely, though, if you want to be extra sure.
