Anyone Get the Free EV9 Portable Charger from Kia

Quick question! has anyone received a free portable charger for the EV9 from Kia? I heard some folks mention that Kia might be sending them out, but I haven’t seen anything in the mail yet. If this is legit, it'd be awesome, especially for those of us wanting an extra charger for on-the-go or backup.

If you’ve gotten one, could you share the details? Like, did it just show up, or did Kia reach out first? Wondering if I should be on the lookout or if it’s more of a targeted thing.

so far, nothing in the mail. From what I’ve gathered, it seems like a selective offer. Some people mentioned getting one, but others haven’t heard a peep. You might want to give Kia customer service a quick call, they should be able to confirm if you’re eligible. Hope we get one soon! Or i'll bug them if they have something for me.

I haven’t gotten one, but that would be such a handy addition! Portable chargers make such a difference for peace of mind on longer trips. If this is a legit thing Kia’s doing, it’d be awesome to know how to get on the list. Maybe it’s worth reaching out to your dealer or checking Kia’s website for announcements?

When you get the car, you get 1,000 kWh of free charging at Electrify America stations. Download their app now so you know where the nearest ones are. That's like, a ton of free charging enough for 10 full charges! It's not as good as the Ioniq 5 deal, but it's still a pretty good perk. Also, download the PlugShare app to find other fast chargers around.

If you have a home charger, you'll mostly charge at home. You'll only really need fast chargers when you're on a road trip.
