EV9 battery issues

Hello! Is it real that people have had issues with their EV9's battery even in the first week? Is this a common problem?

Been driving mine for nearly a month now, and no 12V issues at all! At home, I’ve got my EV9 connected to a Level 1 charger while waiting to get my 240V setup installed. Yeah, it’s not speedy, but it gets the job done for now!

Sadly, yes, some Kia EV9 owners have reported 12V battery issues within the first few months of ownership. I remember reading about one owner who experienced a dead 12V battery after just over a month and 1,000 miles. Another reported the 12V battery draining twice within a few days of each other. These issues can be concerning, especially for new owners.

I've had my EV9 for over a month now and have driven about 1,500 miles without experiencing any 12v issues.

These cars are supposed to be super smart, right? They can wake up in a second when you use the key or the app. So, checking the 12V battery every hour shouldn't be a huge deal for them.

I'm starting to think it's a software glitch maybe they just didn't put much effort into it, or there's a bug they haven't fixed. And those dealers might be leaving the cars in accessory mode, which could be draining the battery too.

Hey! That's definitely concerning. While some early issues can happen with any new car, it's not common for the EV9's battery to have major problems this early on. It might be an isolated case, but I'd definitely check with your dealership. Hopefully it's just a one-off
