Hey everyone, I had a weird experience with my EV9 this morning and wanted to see if anyone else has encountered something similar.

Out of nowhere, I heard two dings from the car, it wasn’t plugged in, no schedules were set, and the car wasn’t on. Later, I noticed a strange "light bulb" icon lit up on the dashboard. I had no idea what it meant or why it was there.

After some digging around in the Kia Access app, I found a notification buried in the settings saying, “CLIMATE: Kia EV9’s Climate was set to 62°F.” But I never set anything for the climate to activate, and the car was completely off. I couldn’t find anything in the manual that explains this light or why the system would randomly adjust the climate.

The light eventually went off on its own, but it left me scratching my head. Has anyone else seen this or figured out why it happens?

Also, on a separate note, I finally figured out how to enable the feature where the key fob automatically opens the rear tailgate when you stand near it. You just need to wait for a few beeps, be patient!

Oh, and shoutout to the Highway Lane Change Assist, it worked perfectly for me on the interstate yesterday.
